Audi A4 B5 Gearbox oil change

Parts

  • 3L fully synthetic SAE 75W-90 oil
  • 17mm allen (for filling port)
  • Special drain plug tool (On my car it is now just 17mm allen on drain aswell)
  • Oil syringe or tube for filling

Procedure

  • Remove filler plug
  • Remove drain plug and let oil pour out
  • Replace drain plug (26 lb-ft)
  • Fill oil till it drips out of the hole
  • Replace 17mm allen fill plug (18lb-ft)

208xxx km (23.12.2020) note: Used the old 17mm allen drain plug again. And the same fill plug cork.
